The airport run is the trip where timing matters most and where the passenger has the least attention to spare for it. You are thinking about the flight, the bags, the boarding time and whatever you forgot to pack. The drive should not be on that list.

We provide chauffeured airport transfers to and from Portland International and every regional and executive field across Oregon and the Northwest corridor, at a price agreed before you travel.

Portland International

PDX is about nine miles from downtown, which is roughly twenty minutes when the road is clear and considerably longer when it is not. That gap is the whole reason to book a car rather than judge it yourself on the morning.

For departures we plan the pickup backwards from your flight time, accounting for the route, the day of the week and the hour rather than working to a generic estimate. You tell us the flight, we work out when the car needs to be outside.

For arrivals, give us the flight number when you book and we plan the pickup around it. If the flight is early, late or diverted, that is our problem to solve rather than yours to explain.

Regional and executive airports

Portland is not the only airport people fly into, and for a lot of trips it is not the closest.

Around the metro area we serve Hillsboro to the west, Troutdale to the east and Aurora State to the south, which handle most of the region's private, charter and general aviation traffic. For a private arrival, give us the tail number and the FBO and we will coordinate with them directly.

Further out we cover the regional airports across the state, including McNary Field in Salem, Eugene, Roberts Field at Redmond for Bend, and Rogue Valley at Medford. We also run north to Seattle Tacoma, which is a longer trip but a common one when a connection makes it the better option.

If you are flying into somewhere not listed, ask. Most of Oregon is reachable and we would rather tell you honestly whether a run makes sense than take a booking that does not.

Fixed prices

The price for an airport transfer is agreed when you book and does not change afterwards.

It does not go up because the traffic was bad, because the route was longer than expected, or because it happened to be raining on a Friday. That is the practical difference between a car service and an app on the one trip where a surge multiplier lands at the worst possible time, and it is the reason people book airport runs ahead rather than opening a phone at six in the morning.

Choosing the vehicle

The right vehicle for an airport run depends on the luggage as much as the passengers, and people underestimate this more often on airport trips than on any other kind.

Luxury sedans, the Mercedes S-Class, Cadillac XTS and BMW 7 Series, carry up to three passengers with standard cases. Fine for a business trip or a couple travelling light.

SUVs, the Cadillac Escalade and GMC Yukon XL, take small groups and anyone travelling with more than a case each, or with ski gear, golf clubs or equipment. If you are flying out for a week with a family, this is the safer booking.

The Mercedes Sprinter van carries larger parties in one vehicle with proper luggage space. On an airport run that matters more than usual, because the alternative is two cars, two arrival times and somebody standing outside departures wondering where the rest of the group is.

Tell us the passenger count and the number of bags when you book and we will match the vehicle. It is a thirty second conversation that prevents the worst version of this trip.

Business and account travel

Airport transfers are the most common corporate booking we handle, and the one where the company's reputation is most exposed.

A client or partner flying in forms their impression of your organisation somewhere between the terminal and your front door, before they have met anybody. Collecting them properly is the cheapest reputational work available.

If your company books regularly, an account holds your preferences, addresses and billing in one place so each subsequent booking takes a fraction of the effort.

The chauffeurs

Licensed, background checked and experienced, and on airport work the experience is in the routing.

Knowing which approach to the terminal works at seven in the morning, where the queue forms on a holiday weekend, and when the direct route is the slow one is the difference between arriving comfortable and arriving flustered. Your chauffeur will help with the bags at both ends.

Use the reservation form with the date, the time or the flight number, the pickup address, the destination, the number of passengers and the amount of luggage. We will confirm the vehicle and the price.

For an arrival, the flight number is the most useful thing you can give us. For a departure, tell us the flight time and let us work backwards from it rather than guessing at a pickup.
