VIP transportation is a phrase that usually means nothing. Used properly it means something specific: the passenger's time, privacy and schedule take priority over everything else, including our convenience.

In practice that comes down to four things. Discretion. Availability. Coordination with whoever manages the passenger's diary rather than the passenger themselves. And a chauffeur who has done this before.

Discretion

The most valuable thing about a good chauffeur is what they do not do.

They do not make conversation unless it is opened. They do not ask about the meeting. They do not mention who they drove yesterday, which is the reassurance that they will not mention you tomorrow. Whatever is said in the back of the car stays there, and whatever is left in it is returned without comment.

Where a low profile matters, an unmarked sedan attracts less attention than anything with a company name on it. If you would rather the arrival went unnoticed, say so and we will arrange the vehicle and the drop off accordingly.

Private aviation and airport transfers

We meet private and charter flights at the executive fields around the metro area, including Hillsboro, Troutdale and Aurora State, as well as commercial arrivals at Portland International.

For a private arrival, give us the tail number, the operator and the FBO and we will coordinate directly with them. Private flights move, and a chauffeur waiting in the wrong place because nobody passed on a forty minute delay is exactly the failure this service exists to prevent.

For commercial arrivals we plan around the flight and adjust as it changes. Whether the meet is at the curb or inside the terminal is your call, and either is arranged in advance rather than sorted out on the day.

Multi-day visits and standby

A visiting principal rarely needs one journey. They need transport available across two or three days, with a schedule that firms up the night before and changes again in the morning.

We handle that as a standing arrangement rather than a series of bookings. The same chauffeur and vehicle stay assigned for the duration, which means they learn the pattern of the visit, know the addresses already, and stop needing to be briefed by the second day.

Standby time is booked hourly. It is not the cheapest way to buy transport and it is not meant to be. What it buys is the car being outside when the meeting ends early, which is the entire point.

Groups and multiple vehicles

Where a party travels together, we coordinate several vehicles as one movement rather than as separate bookings. Same arrival time, agreed running order, and one point of contact rather than three drivers each with a different version of the plan.

For a delegation or an accompanying team, the Mercedes Sprinter keeps a group together while a sedan carries the principal, which is usually the arrangement that works best.

Working with your own team

To be clear about what we do and do not provide: we are a chauffeured transportation company, not a security firm. We do not provide close protection, and we do not employ security personnel.

Where a client travels with their own protection team, we work to their requirements. Route preferences, timings, where the vehicle waits, who travels in which car, how the arrival is handled. Tell us what your team needs and we will follow it. Experienced chauffeurs are used to this and will not treat instructions as a negotiation.

The vehicles

Luxury sedans, the Mercedes S-Class, Cadillac XTS and BMW 7 Series, are the usual choice. Quiet, comfortable, and unremarkable from the outside, which is generally the objective.

SUVs, the Cadillac Escalade and GMC Yukon XL, carry up to six with room for luggage and equipment, and suit a principal travelling with a small team.

The Mercedes Sprinter van moves a larger party in one vehicle with proper luggage space.

Every vehicle is a recent model and maintained to the same standard. If a specific vehicle is required rather than a category, ask when booking and we will confirm availability rather than assume it.

The chauffeurs

Licensed, background checked and experienced, and for this work we assign chauffeurs who have done it before.

That experience shows in the details. Being in position before the passenger appears rather than pulling up as they wait. Knowing which entrance works at which building. Handling a change of plan without needing it explained twice. And understanding that the job is to be available and invisible at the same time.
