Hourly or point to point

Most corporate work falls into one of two shapes, and choosing correctly saves money as well as effort.

Point to point is one pickup and one destination at a fixed price. It suits airport transfers, a single meeting, or a client run to a restaurant.

Hourly keeps the vehicle and chauffeur with the passenger for a block of time. It suits any day with more than two stops, anything where the schedule is likely to move, and any situation where the passenger needs somewhere to work between appointments.

A day of four meetings booked as four separate transfers costs more than the same day on the clock, and it produces four opportunities for something to go wrong instead of one. If you are not sure which arrangement fits, describe the day and we will tell you.

Accounts

If your company books regularly, an account is worth setting up. Preferences, billing details and the addresses you use most are held on file, so the tenth booking takes a fraction of the effort of the first.

It also means consistency. The same standard of vehicle, the same expectations, and no need to brief anyone from scratch when an assistant books on someone else's behalf.

For companies with several people booking, we can work from a single account so the invoicing stays in one place rather than arriving as a stream of individual receipts.

The vehicles

Luxury sedans, the Mercedes S-Class, Cadillac XTS and BMW 7 Series, are the default for corporate work. They carry up to three passengers with luggage, and the back seat is a quiet place to take a call, read a brief or do nothing at all before walking into a meeting.

SUVs, the Cadillac Escalade and GMC Yukon XL, take small groups and anyone travelling with equipment, samples or presentation materials. They are also the right call when the arrival itself is part of the impression.

The Mercedes Sprinter van moves a full team in one vehicle with proper luggage space. For a conference group or a site visit, one vehicle means one arrival and one departure rather than a convoy that loses somebody at the first junction.

Every vehicle is a recent model and maintained to the same standard, so what you booked last month is what arrives this month.

The chauffeurs

Our chauffeurs are licensed, background checked and experienced, and on corporate work the experience shows in the parts nobody sees.

They know the routes, which matters most in the middle of the afternoon when the direct way downtown is the slow one. They know which entrance at which building actually works for a drop off. And they understand that a passenger on the phone is working, which means the car is quiet unless the passenger opens the conversation.

Discretion is part of the job rather than a feature of it. Whatever is discussed in the back of the car stays there.

Airports

Portland International handles most corporate arrivals, and we serve the executive fields around the metro area for private and charter flights, including Hillsboro, Troutdale and Aurora State.

For arrivals, give us the flight number when you book and we plan the pickup around it. For departures, we plan backwards from the flight time rather than working to a generic estimate, which is the difference between a comfortable run and a tense one.

If a flight moves or a meeting overruns, tell us and we will adjust. Most problems are straightforward with notice.
